Hi,
first of all i want to thank you for you great work
Everything works fine except one thing.
When comes 1st date of every month and all PPP Sessions are dropped, then it takes up to 30 minutes for all users to authenticate again. Is there any way to speed up that process ?
i use "files" not "rlm_perl".
My hardware is:
CPU: Athlon XP 1Ghz
RAM: 1G
HDD: ATA 160G
This machine servers only abills, nothing else.
P.S. Access Server is Mikrotik

The monitoring session reset? Maybe you have too great an interval processing Alive packets.

My settings at "System settings -> NAS" are:
- Authorization: SQL
- External Accounting: IPN
- Alive (sec.): 60
- RADIUS Parameters: Acct-Interim-Interval=300

Should i decrease value of "Alive" or "Radius parameters" ?

Hi again
i've configured rlm_perl and the process is real fast now - 5-6 sec.
But i have 2 other problems now:
- 1st -> i cant turn off periodic check in config.pl "$conf{periodic_check}=0;" , but it still check every 5 minutes and drop sessions.
- 2nd -> i use 2 NAS Servers (Mikrotik) at the second there is no traffic on sessions, first server is fine. (see attachment)
There wasn't such problems when i use "files".

both problems are solved !
for first problem i had to uncomment line 335 and 383 in libexec/billd
for the second i returned value of Acct-Interim-Interval back to 300

Разкараи микролаината и си сложи 2 бсд-та и си решаваш проблемите персонално.

установил abills на виртуальный сервер
все работало хорошо недели 3, пока racct.pl не начал периодически загружать дисковую систему

переделал на rlm_perl, переписал Exec-Program на Excec-Program-Wait в raddb/users
все равно периодически перл все валит, даже если отключаю связь с NAS и на биллинг никто не заходит

куда копать...

показывает топі процесс листы и другие данные и откройте тему в нужной ветке
